It was stated earlier this month that Rihanna’s track, whose title is presently unknown, would serve as the Black Panther 2 end-credits song. The music will be available on Friday, October 28, and the movie will be available on November 11.
According to Hypebeat, Rihanna had recorded two songs for the Black Panther Wakanda Forever soundtrack, one of which is said to be the film’s end credits song.
The song will be the pop icon’s first solo release in six years, following her 2016 album Anti.
Since that record, she has collaborated with the N.E.R.D. on “Lemon,” PartyNextDoor on “Believe It,” Future on “Selfish,” DJ Khaled on “Wild Thoughts,” and Kendrick Lamar on “Loyalty.”
Despite the lengthy wait for new music from the diva and her recent role as a first-time mother, Rihanna assured fans earlier this year in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that they will “still get music” from her.
Rihanna was revealed as the headliner for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show last month (September 26), which will take place on February 12, 2023, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
