The American rapper is committed to creating a focused album, previewing the single on his social media on June 10, 2024, featuring Blaqbonez’s verse.

Earlier this year, he gave a shout-out to Nigerian street hop star Portable and rapper Odumodublvck, expressing his desire to create an African album.
Rick Ross later joined Odumodublvck on an Instagram live session, where the award-winning Nigerian rapper introduced him to Afrobeats. During the session, Rick Ross praised Odumodublvck’s single ‘Wotowoto Seasoning’ featuring Black Sheriff, which was gaining attention in the United States.
The collaboration with Blaqbonez is expected to be one of the first tracks from Rick Ross‘ African album.
He has expressed interest in working with Nigerian Grammy-nominated star Ayra Starr, Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy, and Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platinum.
This marks a full-circle moment for Rick Ross, who was featured by the Nigerian iconic duo P-Square in 2011 on the remix of their hit single ‘Beautiful Oyinye’.
