Amapiano DJ Kabza De Small has received a special shout-out from American rapper Rick Ross, who also made online people chuckle with his pronunciation.
Online viewers were in stitches after hearing American rapper Rick Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II, give Amapiano DJ Kabza De Small a special shout-out and pronounce his name incorrectly in a video that was released on Instagram on May 31.
On December 21 and 22, 2019, It was announced that Rick Ross was scheduled to perform at a series of Block Party events in Durban and East London. The concerts were apparently canceled owing to unanticipated events.
In a recent Instagram video, an American rapper could be heard speaking to The King of Amapiano, Kabza De Small, real name Kabelo Motha Mahlangu, and telling him that he was looking forward to working and partying with him on his next trip to South Africa.
“We showing love and we going around the world. Are we going where? Let’s take it to SA-South Africa. Who we gonna rap in South Africa? One of the biggest bosses in the world in South Africa, that’s right Kabza De Small, that’s right.”
“That’s how we gon do it. When you do it big, you do it with official Belaire; you do it with Bamboo. When I come back to SA, Kabza De Small, we gon party together, we gon link together, we gon rap to together because we gon hustle together, we gon win together, Boss!” the rapper added.
According to a 2013 GQ article, Rick Ross was named Luc Belaire’s brand ambassador. Since then, the brand of the pink-hued sparkling wine has apparently taken off in the rap industry. Online users mistakenly believed Rick Ross was saying Cassper De Small after hearing how he spoke Kabza De Small’s name in the video and meanwhile, they thought the artist was referring to Cassper Nyovest, a rapper from South Africa.
