Rexxie finally picks up Wizkid’s call, shares his chat with the superstar.
Fans have responded to the chat between master Afrobeats producer Wizkid and renowned Nigerian producer Rexxie.
Rexxie has been trending on all social media platforms since the release of his single “Abracadabra,” which featured Naira Marley and Skiibii and from which the now-famous lyric “Abi ki npe Rexxie” was sung.
The producer revealed a discussion he had with Wizkid on his official Twitter account on Monday night. In the chat, he thanked Big Wiz for contributing to the song topping the charts.
Wizkid then promised to call the producer once he reached the studio it made him so happy as he referred to the superstar as a ‘king’.
He captioned the post with;

A while back, The More Love Less Ego singer disclosed the budding thoughts he has for the hotshot producer Rexxie, who is currently ruling the airwaves with his recent song Abracadabra featuring Naira Marley.
Wizkid admitted that the catchy sentence “Abi Kin Pe Rexxie” kept jumping into his head every two minutes and that he was unable to get it out of his head.
Big Wiz took to his Instagram story to say: “Every two minutes for my head! Abi Kin pe Rexxxiiiiieeeee @rexxiepondabeat eloooo!!!”
The translation of his words means: “Should I call Rexxie?”
According to all indications, music fans are not the only ones who are obsessed with that line; musicians are as well.
