Nigerian record producer Ezeh Chisom Faith, widely known as Rexxie, has sparked a new online conversation after alleging that singer Seyi Vibez attempted to create a rivalry with Asake in an effort to gain attention.

Speaking during a TikTok livestream, Rexxie claimed that Seyi Vibez was eager to spark a public back-and-forth with Asake, suggesting that the move was driven by a desire for clout rather than any genuine conflict.
He went on to describe Seyi Vibes’ rise in the music industry as largely “orchestrated,” arguing that the singer’s team carefully planned it.
According to the producer, those efforts to push a rivalry narrative ultimately fell flat because Asake refused to engage.
“Seyi Vibes’ blow was an orchestration and a bit of divine arrangement. It was orchestrated in the sense that those behind him planned it. It was well-planned.
Let’s not deceive ourselves. Seyi Vibes and his team even tried to force a beef with Asake but got snubbed. I don’t want to go into the details but, understandably, Seyi Vibes’ blow was orchestrated,” he stated.
Rexxie’s comments have since sparked debate among fans online, with many weighing in on the idea of manufactured rivalries in the music industry and how far some artists are willing to go in the race for relevance.
“Seyi vibez tried to even beef asake, but Asake no give ham face…… Seyi Vibez blow was pure grace and orchestration, like it was planned”
