Davido Reacts To Cheque’s Public Apology.
Afrobeat superstar David Adedeji Adeleke OON, who is professionally known as Davido, has responded to a public apology released by singer Cheque following a video shared by the artist.
Cheque’s public apologies to Davido have drawn attention.
The public apology posted on his social media page read he meant no disrespect to Davido, and he recalled the singer had been there for him since day one.
He acknowledged that he should have done more research before posting and apologized.
Naturally, suspicions surrounded the apology’s motivations because rumours stated that the singer released a since-deleted video that many people had perceived as disrespectful to Chioma, Davido’s wife.
Cheque was shown in the video performing his recently released song while looking at photographs of women on his phone. As he zoomed, sang, and pointed to Davido and Chioma’s photo, he swiped past it to focus on just Chioma’s image.
