Reminisce announces new EP with guest appearances from Vector, Badboy Timz
Award-winning Nigerian rapper Reminisce is set to release a new EP titled “Sui Generis” on Friday, September 27, 2024.
This marks his seventh project in a career that has spanned nearly two decades, during which he has established himself as one of Nigeria’s most iconic Indigenous rappers.
The EP will feature seven tracks, with guest appearances from notable artists such as Vector Tha Viper, Badboy Timz, Bhadboi OML, Logos Olori, Easyscope, and Bardbanks.
Ahead of the EP’s release, Reminisce has already dropped two singles: “Up As Fxck,” featuring Badboy Timz, and the hip-hop track “Kupe,” showcasing his effortless lyrical abilities. “Sui Generis” follows Reminisce’s 2023 album “Alaye Toh Se Gogo VOL. 1,” which included collaborations with Olamide, Mayorkun, BNXN, and others.
Fondly known as Alaga Ibile, Reminisce gained widespread recognition with his hit track “Local Rappers,” featuring Olamide and Phyno, which became a defining moment for indigenous hip-hop in Nigeria.
His ability to blend street anthems with impactful lyrics continues to resonate with fans, who eagerly anticipate the new project.
