Selena Gomez and Rema make it rain for the ravers.
Nigerian singer, Rema has hit yet another milestone with his hit single, Calm Down as it surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify.
Checks by Mp3bullet affirms the singer’s song crossed this 9-zero mark on the streaming platform, following its previous achievement as the most streamed Afrobeats song of all time on Spotify.
Calm Down’s success not only gives Gomez her first No. 1 on the Radio Songs list but also gives Rema her first top-ten single. Gomez had already come close to surpassing this total; her song Same Old Love peaked at No. 3 eight years ago, while Rema only has one noteworthy chart victory to his name. On Spotify, the song Calm Down by Rema and Selena Gomez has received over 1 BILLION streams. It becomes the first and only African song to do so, and Rema’s first and Selena’s sixth song to do so.
