Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ reaches a new record on UK official singles chart, while Seyi Vibez’s ‘Chance’ makes its debut.
The latest edition of the UK official singles chart reveals that Nigerian musician Rema’s song “Calm Down” has reached a new height and is still receiving praise around the world, while Seyi Vibez’s hit tune “Chance” makes its debut on the UK Afrobeats Chart.
Rema’s remix of “Calm Down,” which features Selena Gomez, hit a new peak of No. 8 during the chart week of 06 January 2023 – 12 January 2023, extending its tenure at No. 1 for a total of 19 weeks.
As its run on the chart reaches 31 weeks, Burna Boy’s hit song “Last Last” re-enters at No. 53. Oxlade’s ‘Kulosa‘ re-enters the chart at NO. 57 as it reaches 16 weeks on the chart.
Burna Boy earns his second chart position with “Alone,” which re-enters at No. 69.
The number-one single by LaBianca, titled “People,” makes its worldwide debut at position 92.

As it enters its eighth week on the chart, Burna Boy’s “Alone” maintains the top spot for a third consecutive week.
Labianca’s ‘People‘ debuts at NO. 2 as the song continues its impressive international run.
Ruger’s “Asiwaju” and Wizkid’s “2 Sugar” feat. Ayra Starr maintains the fifth and sixth positions, respectively, while Fireboy’s “Bandana” feat. Asake dips one spot to NO. 4.
Kizz Daniel’s “Cough” falls three positions to No. 7, Wizkid’s “Wow” with Naira Markey and Skepta falls one position to No. 8, Zinoleesky’s “Personal” falls one position to No. 9, and Mavin’s “Won Da Mo” falls to No. 10.
BNXN’s “Omo Elewa” debuts at position 13, while Seyi Vibez’s “Chance” debuts at position 19.
