Rema’s single ‘Calm Down’ has been certified gold in Italy.
The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) awarded Rema a gold plaque for his single “Calm Down” after he gave a performance in a show in Italy.

The song served as the lead single for Rema’s debut album, “Raves & Roses,” which was released in March 2022. The song has received a lot of positive feedback from fans since it was released, and a Selena Gomez remix helped it gain even more traction.
‘Calm Down‘ first earned Gold certifications in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands before getting it in Italy. In the UK, it was awarded a Silver certification, and in France, a Diamond certification.
The single has enjoyed international acclaim as it entered the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number 74 and the top 10 of the UK singles chart.
After his show in Brixton Arena London, Rema revealed that ‘Calm Down’ has surpassed 1 billion streams across all platforms.

Rema’s official fan page also revealed that “Calm Down” has also surpassed 250 Million views, weeks after the song made history by being the fastest afrobeat song to hit 200 views on Youtube.
In other news, Rema has achieved another feat as his debut album, “Raves and Roses” recently achieved Platinum status in Switzerland.
Rema in a post on his social media, the singer uploaded pictures of himself on stage holding the plaque while the audience celebrate him.
Captioning the post, he wrote;
“My Debut Album platinum in Switzerland, thank you for having me beautiful people! ????????????”
