Rema promises to win Grammy
Divine Ikubor, popularly referred to as Rema is a Nigerian musician who made a promise to win this year’s Grammys.
Rema stated that he would win the Grammys this year when visiting wealthy businessman Tony Elumelu at his residence in Lagos, even though he was not nominated for any awards in 2024.
The “Calm Down” singer thanked Elumelu for always promoting the Nigerian music business during his interaction with the billionaire’s family. He also gave them a unique album copy and some of his goods, Air Rema.
Speaking in a video clip shared on the billionaire’s Instastory, Rema said: “Thank you for what you have done and the support you have for the music industry. I am grateful, it means a lot to me. This year I am bringing the Grammy.”
