Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has achieved another career landmark with his music as he tops the charts in India with “Calm Down.”
The Afrobeat star starts the year 2023 at an impressive pace as he begins his record-breaking as always. He extended his domination on the international scene with his most recent achievement.
Rema takes afrobeat to new heights with “Calm Down,” which becomes India’s number one hit.
Since Rema’s new feat aired, a viral throwback video of him has made the rounds on social media. The Mavin record star said in the video that he had been heavily chastised for sounding Indian. Nonetheless, he openly stated that he would want to take Afrobeats into areas where no one has gone before.
