Rema dazzles audiences with electrifying performance at a concert in Toronto.
Nigerian sensational artist Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, wowed fans in Toronto during his concert as part of his “Raves & Roses” tour.
With his worldwide smash record “Calm Down,” which has topped charts on many continents and set a new record in Afrobeats, Rema is one of the musicians introducing Nigerian music to a global audience.
Rema accomplished another astounding milestone on August 8, 2023, when he sold out Toronto’s 2,500-seat REBEL Theatre while dazzling audiences with a diverse set of popular tunes.
On his current North American tour, The Mavin prince has sold out venues in numerous American cities and postponed his performance in Atlanta due to the lack of planning on the part of the organizers.

Rema has achieved notable success in Canada, where he is the first and only Nigerian artist to have his debut album ‘Raves & Roses‘ certified platinum. Similarly, Selena Gomez’s collaboration ‘Calm Down‘ has been certified seven times platinum in Canada.
After his Toronto concert, Rema was spotted hanging out with American rapper Polo G.
Rema has continued to set the pace for the global exportation of Nigerian music with his single ‘Calm Down‘ holding the record for the most streamed Afrobeats song on Spotify as well as the most watched Nigerian music video on YouTube.
Selena Gomez thanked Rema for transforming her life by featuring her on the song that topped charts in North Africa, the Middle East, and India and holds the Afrobeats genre’s highest charting record in the UK Singles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to the song’s enormous success.
