Rema Discusses How the Death of His Father Affected Him
Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage as Rema, has spoken candidly about how losing his father as a child affected him.
In an interview with renowned media personality Adesope Olajide, the Mavin Records/Jonzing World superstar claimed that the death of his father changed the way he perceived life and had a significant impact on many aspects of his life, including his mood, as he had been a “colourful” and happy child prior to his father’s passing.
The musician claims that his passing helped him understand that he might lose a loved one at any time and this is why he values his family so highly.

Rema, who expressed how close he was with his dad, went on to state that the conditions around his dad’s death were really dark and that today he is still investigating his death.
