Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ reaches almost 300 million views on YouTube.
Rema, who released “Calm Down” roughly ten months ago, achieved another astounding accomplishment after the song received nearly 300 million views on YouTube.
“Calm Down” is a track from Rema’s debut studio album, Rave and Rose, which was out earlier in 2022.
The Mavin record artist also dropped a remix with American singer Selena Gomez, and as of 2022, that song has amassed the highest streams of any Afro-beat song.
Currently, the original version of the song has amassed an estimated 299 Million views on the video-sharing platform.

As a yearly occasion, the former president of the United States, Barak Obama releases a playlist of his favourite song all throughout the year. The list is one of the year-end wraps that most look forwards to.
On Obama’s playlist were featured the likes of Ayra Starr’s “Rush”, Rema’s “Calm Down”, and of course, Burna Boy’s” Last Last”. Other international artists like Kendrick Lamar, Koffee, Beyonce, Lizzo, and others made the list.

I always enjoy sharing my end of year music playlist with all of you — and this year we heard a lot of great songs. Here are some of my favorites. Are there any songs or artists I should check out?
