Rema unveils international artist to feature on “Calm Down” remix
Rema announced that he would be collaborating with an international artist to release a remix of one of his biggest songs, “Calm Down“.
Rema, who had been in the spotlight after a successful performance and sharing the teaser of new music, took to his social media platform on, Monday, August 22, 2022, to announce that he will be releasing the remix of “Calm Down” with Selena Gomez.
Rema confirmed that the remix of the hit song with Selena Gomez would be released on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Recall that Selena Gomez was the first to hint at the collaboration. On her Instagram Story, the Rare Beauty mogul posted a black-and-white snapshot of herself smiling ear to ear as she clasps hands with the rising Nigerian Afrobeats star.

While she didn’t offer many contexts, Gomez did include a colourfully radiating GIF above the photo that reads, “Coming Soon.”
Prior to this declaration, the duo sparked excitement among fans when a video of the two sharing an amorous moment backstage at Rema’s LA show surfaced.
This collaboration will join Rema’s list of international collabs such as Time And Affection with Chris Brown, JAE5’s Dimension, Robinson’s Ayo Girl, Hold Me with 6Lack and others.
REMA released his debut album Rave & Roses in March. The album featured the hits “Soundgasm,” “Calm Down,” and “FYN” with AJ Tracey in addition to other guest appearances by Chris Brown (“Time n Affection”), 6lack (“Hold Me”), and Yseult (“Wine”).
