Mavin Records hitmaker, Rema has finally released his long-awaited sophomore album titled, ‘Rave & Roses‘.
Rema has been a key player in propelling Afropop into a genre-fluid, visionary age that has resulted in a dynamic mix of music that incorporates inspirations such as trap’s hyper-frenzy, reggaetón’s melodic undertone, and the immersive sounders of Bollywood scores.
All of these inspirations come to a head on the singer’s debut album, Rave & Roses, a 16-song collection on which he deftly details love, addiction, and fate.
“Just the recording process had different reasons that carried me to the studio, moments that just came out of the blue, but with the same goal. I didn’t have a solid written plan, so I literally approached this album with no fear or pressure”,he explains.
