Afrobeats sensation Rema continues to make history, solidifying his status as one of Nigeria’s biggest music exports. After becoming the first Nigerian artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music magazine, the Calm Down hitmaker delivered an electrifying performance in Autinus, thrilling fans with a setlist of his biggest hits, including Dumebi, Woman, and Calm Down.

The year 2025 is already shaping up to be a landmark one for Rema, whose latest single, Baby (Is It A Crime), has emerged as the most-streamed Nigerian song of the year on Spotify so far.

Beyond his chart success, Rema is gearing up for a massive international run with the HEIS tour. The tour will see him headline some of the most prestigious venues across North America, Europe, and Asia, reinforcing his growing global dominance.

Kicking off in North America, Rema will take centre stage at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on May 3rd, where he will perform for 19,000 fans.

He will then move to Canada, making stops at the 10,000-capacity Place Bell on May 10th and the Scotia Bank Arena the following day.

His European leg includes a performance at the 7,000-seat Carroponte Hall in Milan on June 14th, followed by a show at the 6,000-capacity Afas Hall on July 20th.

In a major milestone, Rema will extend his tour to Japan, marking a significant expansion of Afrobeats into the Asian market. He will headline the 10,000-capacity Okinawa Arena on July 20th before captivating fans at Tokyo’s Mushashino Hall, another 10,000-seat venue, on July 27th.

This isn’t Rema’s first foray into Asia. In 2024, he made headlines with a performance in Malaysia and also performed at the high-profile Ambani wedding in India, cementing his reputation as a global superstar.

With a packed schedule and groundbreaking achievements, 2025 is shaping up to be another defining year for Rema, further proving his place at the forefront of Afrobeats’ global expansion.
