Nigerian Singer, Divine Ikubor also known as Rema has shared a piece of wonderful news with fans about his recent admission into Unilag.
Rema in a tweet has revealed that he recently got admitted to the University of Lagos also known as UNILAG.
According to him, the reason for pursuing a degree at this stage of his life is because of his mom who insisted he must finish tertiary institution.
He also told his fans in the school to expect him when classes resume.
In his words;
“What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol Mom said I still need to get a degree sigh, oh well see you guys in class! Smiling face with smiling eyes”
The Mavin Record label signee, did not reveal the course he will be studying at the university.
Rema got signed to D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, in 2019.

According to his Wikipedia page, while he finished his secondary school in Benin, he is yet to enter the university.
The “Soundgasm” crooner won’t be the first to combine school with a thriving music career. His fellow music colleague, Bella Shmurda graduated from Lagos State University (LASU) in 2021.
We do hope Rema is successful in getting a degree.
