Rema rejoices as his album attains platinum status in Switzerland.
Nigerian singer, Rema has achieved another feat as his debut album, “Raves and Roses” recently achieved Platinum status in Switzerland.
Rema in a post on his social media, the singer uploaded pictures of himself on stage holding the plaque while the audience celebrate him.
Captioning the post, he wrote;
“My Debut Album platinum in Switzerland, thank you for having me beautiful people! ????????????”

This comes weeks after Rema’s Calm Down recently bagged a gold certification in Spain.
Rema’s statistic page, @RemaStats announced that the song sold over 30k units making it eligible for a Gold certification and would soon be eligible for a Platinum certification.
“Calm Down” is the third Afrobeats song to earn certification in Spain, only behind two versions of Love Nwantiti.
Calm Down also topped 1 billion on all platforms. The remix featuring international vocalist Selena Gomez, also attained its first Brit certification.
Calm Down” which is obviously now Rema’s biggest song of all time has been breaking records in different countries. In July, the Jonzing world artist added a platinum certification to his shelf in France.
The topping on the cake was when “Calm Down” received more than 200 million views and 1.7 million likes on YouTube in the eight months after its debut.
In less than 5 months since its debut, the remix of the popular song, which features Selena Gomez, is also 35 million views shy of reaching 100 million views on YouTube.
