Nigerian singer, Rema has unlocked a new achievement as he enters the Guinness World Book of Records with his hit single, ‘Calm Down’.

Rema became the first artist in history to top the Official MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Chart. The MENA chart is the world’s first regional streaming chart, that was introduced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) on November 29, 2022 for countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

With “Calm Down,” Rema became the third artist after Wizkid and Femi Kuti to be listed in the Guinness World Book of Records. The song ruled the charts for more than two months.

The top-charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart is the hit tune “Calm Down.” With the release of the ultra-version of his debut album “Rave & Roses,” the announcement of his legendary 02 Arena show slated for November 2023, as well as a fan-only celebration, Rema has great plans for his fans in 2023.
