Nigerian global hitmaker Rema has unveiled a brand-new track titled FUN, adding yet another gem to his impressive 2025 run.
The single, released just hours ago, further reinforces the superstar’s reputation for pushing Afrobeats into uncharted global territory.

The release comes on the back of a remarkable year for the 24-year-old. In February, Rema turned heads with Baby (Is It a Crime), a reimagining of Sade’s 1985 classic, which quickly ranked among the most-streamed Nigerian songs of the year. He followed that up in April with Bout U, continuing his streak of quality singles.
Since his breakout, Rema has been celebrated as one of Afrobeats’ most innovative figures, praised for crafting music that resonates across continents while staying true to African rhythms. His sophomore album, Heis, released in July 2024, solidified his global presence, and the arrival of FUN shows no sign of him slowing down.
Co-produced by London and AoD, the new single is an infectious, percussion-heavy anthem that is equally suited for dance floors and personal playlists.

Rema’s smooth delivery rides on upbeat melodies, while his lyrics strike a defiant tone against critics: “People dem must to talk, even if say you wan RESPOND, they go say you’re the one who’s Immature like say na your fault.”
Thematically, FUN captures the artist’s carefree philosophy an invitation to embrace joy and block out negativity. Its vibrant energy and hook-laden structure make it a strong contender to join his catalogue of international hits, like ‘Calm Down’.
Now streaming on all major platforms, FUN positions Rema to extend his dominance in a year already filled with milestones, further cementing his role as one of Afrobeats’ most influential voices.
