Nigerian sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has ignited a social media frenzy by placing himself on par with global Afrobeat heavyweights like Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

Rema, celebrated for his chart-topping hits, took to his microblogging platform to assert that Nigeria boasts more than just three top-tier performers.

At just 24 years old, Rema has emerged as a symbol of Afrobeats’ resounding success on the global stage, amplifying the influence of African music worldwide.

His remarkable achievements not only elevate the standards of Afrobeats but also underscore Nigeria’s dominance in the international music scene, especially following his breakout hit, ‘Calm Down,’ featuring American singer Selena Gomez.

In a bold statement, Divine Ikubor inserted himself into the ongoing discourse surrounding Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, collectively known as the “Big 3.”

He declared, “No more Big 3, there’s now a Big 4,” sparking speculation among fans about the target of his message.

In addition, shortly after Mavin Records posted on their Twitter page, announcing Rema’s involvement in a new project, Rema himself retweeted the announcement. However, instead of showing appreciation, he expressed surprise and dissatisfaction with his label’s claim that he was working on a new song. He questioned the announcement, stating, “SMH, tf is this?”
