Nigerian Afrobeat Star, Rema is celebrating the second anniversary of his self-titled debut EP.
Taking to his Twitter page on the 22nd of March, Rema thanked God for his grace, giving him an amazing team and blessing him with a supportive fanbase.
He wrote;
“2 years in the Game, it all started with this EP. so many wins & trials still I’m Grateful to God for his Grace, for giving me an amazing Team, for blessing me with a supportive fanbase & granting me wisdom that caused me to grow. Greater heights ahead, to God be the glory.”
Rema released the Self-titled EP in March 2019 which birthed hit songs like Dumebi, Iron Man (Which was picked by Barack Obama for his playlist), Why and Corny”

He’s released three more projects since – “Rema Freestyle” which is a collection of trap-influenced Instagram freestyles hewn into radio-ready singles.
The third, “Bad Commando” ushered the singer onto the global stage with a fine balance of the styles he’s become known for. The third, a mixtape, “Rema Remix” was released in 2020 and featured all the remix of his hit songs.
