    Rema, Burna Boy & Oxlade extend run as Libianca top the UK Official Afrobeats Chart

    Nigerian superstars Rema, Burna Boy, and Oxlade continued to dominate the UK Official Singles Chart in the most recent edition, Libianca
    ascends to the summit of the Afrobeats Chart.

    Rema’s breakthrough single “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez maintains its No. 8 peak position from the previous week and extends its run on the chart to 20 weeks during the chart week of January 13–19, 2023.

    In its second week on the chart, Libianca’s “People” rises 32 ranks from 90th place last week to NO. 62 this week.

    As its run extended to 17 weeks, Oxlade’s “Kulosa” falls 5 spots from last week’s No. 57 to No. 62 this week.

    The song “Last Last” by Burna Boy, which was 53rd last week, is now 68th on the chart as it enters its 32nd week. “Alone,” the Grammy-winning artist’s second release, falls two spots to No. 71 this week as it enters its seventh week on the chart.

    • UK Afrobeats Chart:

    ‘People‘ by Libianca, which debuted at No. 2 last week, has climbed to the top of the UK Afrobeats Chart.

    Burna Boy’s ‘Alone‘ drops to NO. 2 while Ruger’s ‘Asiwaju‘ climbs two spots up to NO. 3. Wizkid’s ‘2 Sugar‘ feat Ayra Starr moves up to NO. 4 and Kizz Daniel’s ‘Cough‘ also moves up to NO. 5.

    Tiwa Savage and Asake’s ‘Loaded‘ and Asake’s ‘Organise‘ re-enter the chart at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively.

    Wizkid’s ‘Wow,’ featuring Naira Marley and Skepta, falls to No. 9, while Mavin’s ‘Won Da Mo‘ remains at No. 10.

    Burna Boy’s ‘Toni-Ann Singh’ feat Popcaan debuts at NO. 12 while Kizz Daniel’s ‘RTID (Ricj Till I Die)’ debuts at NO. 13.

    Fireboy’s ‘Diana‘ feat Chris Brown and Shenseea re-enters at NO. 17.
