Within 24 hours, the “Calm Down” remix with American singer Selena Gomez, set a new record on YouTube for Nigerian Afrobeat new-age artist Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema.
The singer has become the only Nigerian artist to achieve the feat with his music video on Youtube in 24 hours.
Rema holds the record as the only Nigerian artist in history to have the most views on Youtube within 24 hours following the release of the music video of the hit song ‘Calm Down’ remix, which features Selena Gomez, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Recall, Davido held the record for having the most views on a music video in a 24-hour period with his record-breaking Fem music video, which had 3 million views on YouTube on the first day, as at now the Mavin prince has set another record in the first 24 hours after its release, the video received precisely 3.333,043 million views.
