Rema bags Gold certification in Belgium thanks to “Calm Down”

Rema records major Milestone in Belgium
Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has added another accolade to his large collection as he bagged a Gold certification in Belgium.
The Jonzing record artist has been bagging certification across different countries thanks to his 2022 hit song, “Calm Down“.
It wasn’t too long ago that the singer added a platinum certification to his shelf in France after garnering thirty million (30,000,000) stream-equivalents with sales of 200k units with the same song.
Since its debut on the 20th of February 2022, “Calm Down” has achieved significant milestones, like becoming the most shazamed song in France in May. The song is the first in Afrobeats to reach the 100 million view milestone in less than five months.
In addition, Rema now holds the newest record with Calm Down (5 months, 14 days), while Burna Boy had the fastest Afrobeats song to achieve Platinum in France with On The Low (1 year+), CKay broke the record with Emiliana (5 months, 23 days).
“On The Low” by Burna Boy was the first certified Afrobeats song. “Love Nwantiti” by CKay was the first certified Diamond Afrobeats song. “Calm Down” by Rema was the fastest certified Platinum Afrobeats song.

In other news, A Nigerian man living in the US who describes himself as an expert in spiritualism claims that singer Rema practices black magic to be successful in the music industry.
He stated Rema was the most hazardous performer in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and that he was practising sorcery.
He claims that his Rave & Rose album’s cover, which features an inverted church that has been set on fire, is evidence of Rema’s use of black magic.
The man who identified himself as an excellent archaeologist also looked at some sinister pictures of Rema holding a skeleton and came to the conclusion that they were demonic in nature.
