Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ Certified Diamond in France.
Rema’s blockbuster hit record ‘Calm Down‘ is breaking ground in various parts of the world, and France has been a highly key position for his success.
Yesterday, the hitmaker struck another milestone in his career as the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) made an announcement on Twitter regarding Rema’s new diamond certification with a caption that reads:
“Le titre ‘Calm Down’ de Rema est certifié Single Diamant! 50 000 000 équivalents streams. Bravo!” which translates to, “Rema’s track ‘Calm Down’ is certified Diamond! ???? 50,000,000 stream equivalents streams. Well done!“

Rema will join Burna Boy and CKay as the only Afrobeats artists with diamond certifications in France.
Burna Boy previously earned it with his smash hit single ‘On The Low‘ and CKay did it with the culture-resetting hit ‘Love Nwantiti.’
This won’t be the first time Rema is bagging a certification in the French-speaking country. Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that “Calm Down” bagged a Platinum certification in France and before that he bagged a Gold certification with “Dumebi” after selling over 100,000 units, equivalent to 15 million streams.
In the month of May, Rema held the number one position on the Shazam chart in France as his hit song ‘Calm Down’ became the most shazamed song in the country.
