The announcement, unveiled through an online flyer on Monday, January 22, 2024, promises chart-topping hits and electrifying performances, setting the stage for an unforgettable festival experience.
The stellar lineup for Afro Nation Portugal includes international sensations Dadju and Tayc, Odumodublvck, Tyla, Flavour, Seyi Vibez, Omah Lay, Focalistic, Diamond Platnumz, and many more.
This three-day celebration of African music and culture has become a global sensation, uniting the diaspora through dance, food, fashion, and soul-stirring beats. Afro Nation Portugal’s success has propelled artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido to headline major festivals worldwide.

Nicki Minaj’s debut performance at Afro Nation Portugal is a highlight, marking a significant milestone for the talented rapper and the event itself. With a groundbreaking career that has reshaped the landscape of US rap and hip-hop since her debut album Pink Friday, Minaj boasts numerous accolades, including nine American Music Awards and twelve BET Awards. She holds the distinction of being the first woman to achieve 100 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Asake’s success story continued as he secured the Male MVP award at the Soundcity MVP Awards in February 2023. His winning streak extended when he clinched the prestigious Best African Artist of the Year award at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in May. Adding to his accolades, Asake took home the 2023 Headies Next Rated award and Album of the Year for “Mr. Money With The Vibe.” Demonstrating his widespread appeal, Asake’s dominance on Spotify was unmistakable, with three of his tracks, including the hit single ‘Lonely at the Top,’ ranking among the top 10 most-streamed songs in Nigeria.
Rema, on the other hand, showcased his remarkable achievements as a nominee in multiple categories at the iHeart Radio Awards, where he garnered five nominations.
