Rema discloses he doesn’t visit the gym
Rema has revealed more about how he obtained his muscular figure and how he doesn’t attend the gym in an interview with Spotify on ‘What We Be On.’
He was on the show to promote his first album, “Raves and Roses” when he made disclosures about his life.
He was asked about what sparks his creativity, he said;
“I love art, you know. Sometimes when I have free times in different territories that I get into, different countries, cities, I’ll go to the galleries, or like the museums, and just inspire myself.”
When asked about his workout routine, the “Calm Down” crooner joked that he got his sculpted abs and muscle through collecting water, carrying kegs, doing hard labour in Ghana, and even starving.

“I don’t go to the gym. I always had my body pattern, way back since Benin, fetching water, carrying buckets of water, you know, wheelbarrows. When I was in Ghana, when I was hustling, doing hard Labour, I was already getting ripped out from whatever I was doing. You know, days that I starved, my packs just came out.”
When asked what inspired his album cover, he said;
The inspiration behind our covers is literally the frequency that the song gives to me. My mind state, my mood, the colours that come to mind when I listen to a song. I ride off the frequency of a particular sound.”
