Rema’s ‘Charm’ Goes Platinum in France, Marks Fourth SNEP Certification

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema has added another feather to his cap as his hit single “Charm” has been certified platinum in France by the Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP).
“Charm,” a standout track from his debut album “Raves & Roses,” marks Rema’s third single to achieve platinum status in France, following the successes of “Soundgasm” and “Dumebi.” This latest accolade brings his total number of SNEP certifications in the country to four.
Rema’s global smash “Calm Down” holds a prestigious diamond certification from SNEP, making it one of only nine songs ever to receive such an honor in France.

With these accomplishments, Rema is firmly establishing himself as one of the most certified Nigerian artists in the European market, second only to Burna Boy, who currently holds nine SNEP certifications.
Rema’s prominence in France is further cemented by his upcoming headline performance at the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena, one of the country’s premier music venues.
The year 2025 has been busy for the young star, who is currently on the road with his “HEIS” tour, performing at major venues worldwide, including a sold-out show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Rema’s continuous rise underscores his role as a leading ambassador of Afrobeats on the global stage.
