Reiss Nelson signs four-year Arsenal deal.
Arsenal has announced that Reiss Nelson has renewed his contract with the club.
Nelson had an impact as the Gunners finished second in the Premier League standings, and he has now pledged his future to the club by signing a long-term contract. The winger scored three goals despite not receiving a Premier League start in 2022–23, including a thrilling 97th-minute winner against Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old has been a member of Arsenal since he was eight years old and has previously participated in loan stints with Hoffenheim and Feyenoord. With the club on the verge of bringing in Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber from West Ham and Ajax, respectively, he will now try to force his way into Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.
Manager Arteta told the club’s website: “Reiss is a player I have admired since the first day I was here. He has tremendous ability and is such an exciting offensive talent. Reiss knows how important he is to our squad with the quality he has.
“It’s great that Reiss has committed his future to us – he knows this club so well, he grew up here and we look forward to enjoying many more good moments with him.”
Nelson is likely to be heavily involved as Arsenal kick off their pre-season preparations.
