Nigerian music star, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon popularly known as Reekado Banks, has revealed how long it took him to finish and release his latest song, ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe.’
Reekado Banks revealed to City FM’s Melody Hassan that it took him a year to finish and release his current single, the buzzing ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe.’
When asked why he adopted the name “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” the musician explained that it was a response to many people wondering where he was.
According to him, he had been busy, in the same way that Ozumba Mbadiwe had been at Victoria Island, Lagos.
Reekado said in the interview that he will release a new EP titled “Off the Record 2” on November 11, 2021.

He also stated that he is working on a new song called “Lupita Nyongo” with P.Priime, a young and skilled Nigerian producer who also worked on “Ozumba Mbadiwe.”
