Reekado Banks says he will switch careers at 38 to become a chef
Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known as Reekado Banks, has revealed in a tweet that when he becomes 38 years old, he plans to change his career to become a chef.
The 28-year-old musician, whose recent popular song was nominated for the 15th Headies, has announced that he will change careers and become a chef.
“Switching careers completely when I’m 38. I’m going to become a chef” – he tweets.

Some fans and entertainers welcomed his idea as suggestions on the location to open the restaurant were made.
One suggested he opens his restaurant in Ozumba Mbadiwe, to which he agreed.

In another tweet, the singer stated that he hopes his hit song, “Ozumba Mbadiwe” will remain even when he gets to 80.
He tweeted;

When a fan asked when he would be releasing a new song, he revealed the record will drop in July.

In response to another fan who complained about “Ozumba Mbadiwe” not being in the Headies song of the Year category, he said;
“E Dey there. If na voting category, Vote am for best Afrobeats song of the year”
The singer also promised not to let his fire down as he would be dropping more hits and told fans to expect another album.
