Reactions have trailed Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy’s absent at the Hot 97 Summer Jam festival 2022.

Fans have taken to social media to express their outrage after Burna Boy, who was scheduled to perform at the Summer Jam festival 2022 did not show up for the event.

There has been no official statement on the absence of the superstar who was scheduled to perform at the event.

I’m thinking this is gonna be my chance to sing Last Last & YALL NEVER SAID BURNA BOY WASN’T coming. WORST SUMMER JAM EVER. #summerjam2022 #hot97summerjam

I’m so disappointed Burna didn’t make it to Summer Jam. He’s the only reason I even went. I know he has some stuff going on right now, and I know he’d never mean to let down his fans, so I’ll forgive him by morning lol but tonight I’m sad 🥺 @burnaboy I hope you’re ok. In other news, Burna Boy and Tems were the only Nigerian artists that made the Spotify shortlist for the Songs Of The Summer Prediction 2022.

The two artists become the only Nigerian singer to be on the latest list unveiled by Spotify ahead of the new season.

Burna Boy’s hit song ‘Last Last’ and Tems hit collaboration project with Future and Drake titled “Wait For U” both made the shortlist.
