Reactions as Burna Boy discloses “No point in working hard if you don’t make it in life”

Grammy Award winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known by his stage as Burna Boy, recently released a video that drew conflicting responses from social media users.

The “Last Last” singer Burna Boy chastises those who put so much effort into their lives but yet failed to succeed during an Instagram live session with his primary crew.

Burna Boy asserts that if one doesn’t succeed in life, it is pointless to work hard and that there won’t be much proof to support this claim.

Burna, who just performed in the UEFA Champions League final, continued by saying that someone would have to explain so diligently that he or she did their best.

He continued by saying that this is one of the reasons he has been striving so hard in life to write history and document events so he won’t have to perform the talking “Shalaye.”

Burna said; “For this life ehn, if you no make am, no evidence say you try your best oh, you go dey explain tire cause there is no evidence you tried your best, na why we dey parah, dem person go die now they do talk he tried, how the people go believe.”

View of reactions from fans is as follows…….!

shaelizade_: I can’t argue that! Result is what gives you audience. When you struggle so much and barely even eat a day’s meal, if you don’t make it, trying to narrate how you slept on the street and had no one to give you an print opportunity, you’re viewed as an epitome of excuse for laziness. Moreover, when you make it, people will empathise with you and affirm that yeah, you truly suffered. That’s when they will give you audience and your complaints will make sense. That’s how life works. You’re only hailed a Victor after winning battles!

dr_godwin: I think I prefer Burna boy when he is not talking… His silence don’t give him up. How will you explain the outcome of this motivating words to the Nigerian Youths?

doctor.chioma.grey: Spot on… don’t till she dumps you for your inability to make her orga5m and you start to shalaye. Get yourself fortified with enhancers from @myspnigeria so she’ll be the one testifying about your performance in the other room.
