RCA Records, an American record label, has officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian star singer, Tems, via a social media post.
On Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, RCA Records made the official announcement of the signing of Tems on their Instagram and Twitter profiles.
Tems has had a successful year so far, with her presence on Wizkid’s global smash track Essence helping to raise her fame.
Wizkid, who is also signed to RCA Records, featured the singer on Essence from his Made in Lagos album, which was released in 2020.
Tems‘ newfound fame landed her a spot on Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy, on the single Fountains.

Tems‘ partnership with RCA Records is already reaping benefits for her. She just made history by becoming the first African artist to have two singles in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40 at the same time.
RCA announced Tems as their latest artist, writing:
