Rashford matches another Rooney record at Man United as Old Trafford goal streak continues.
With his most recent goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United, Marcus Rashford has once again modelled his success after that of Wayne Rooney.
The England international attacker tied, then surpassed, the Red Devils’ all-time leading scorer earlier this season while netting in nine straight home matches.
Rashford has been having another strong run in Premier League games. The 25-year-old Manchester United forward has scored in each of his last six league games, becoming the first player to do it since Rooney in April 2012.

Rashford has been able to surpass the accomplishments of a few club icons, as players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooy only ever managed to score in six consecutive home games in all competitions during their respective time at Old Trafford.
Rashford’s most recent goal was in a 2-2 draw with Leeds, which saw the Red Devils come from two goals behind to share the win and hold onto a third position in the Premier League standings.
