Rapper Tion Wayne gives new clothes on Lagos streets

• British-Nigerian rapper Tion Wayne shares clothes on Lagos streets.

Nigerian British rapper Dennis Junior Odunwo, known professionally as Tion Wayne, has surprised fans by giving out clothes items to admirers on the streets of Lagos.

Tion Wayne is a UK-based rapper whose music has made its way to the Nigerian market. The rapper, who is in Nigeria for Davido’s ‘The Timeless Experience‘ gig, took a break to visit the street and connect with fans.

At Davido’s “The Timeless Experience” performance in Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos, Tion Wayne was one of the performers. He made a triumphant comeback by dazzling fans with renditions of the songs from his record-breaking fourth album “Timeless” at the event, which was his first in Nigeria in close to a year.

The rapper can be seen in a viral video unpacking a box full of clothes and giving the clothes to random residents of a Lagos neighbourhood. Fans who were having trouble choosing the bundled tracksuits from the box are now grinning thanks to the performances.

This is not the first time the Ondo State-born Tion Wayne will be hitting the streets of Lagos. In 2022, he took to the streets with British rapper Arrdee as part of the content for their video shoot for their song ’24 Hours in Lagos’.
