Doctor diagnosed that I may die if I don’t quit smoking – Rapper, Meek Mill
American rap star Meek Mill, whose real name is Robert Rahmeek Williams, has disclosed that he has been diagnosed with emphysema, a medical condition often associated with smoking.
The 36-year-old rapper shared that his doctor has strongly advised him to quit smoking to avoid potential health risks.
Meek Mill, who is the founder of Dream Chasers Records, revealed on his official Twitter account that, in light of his health concerns, he is contemplating relocating to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of his effort to kick the smoking habit.
The rapper made these statements in response to the news of his fellow rap veteran and colleague, Snoop Dogg, announcing his decision to quit smoking. This revelation sheds light on the personal health challenges that Meek Mill is facing and his determination to prioritize his well-being.
Meek wrote, “Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking… Ima follow Snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half.
“I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”
