Opeyemi Babatunde Rahim, popularly known as Lyta is one of the Nigerian talented singers that has a melodious and addictive vocal with good breath control.
Lyta got affiliated to the YBNL record label owned by renowned Nigerian rapper Olamide in 2018 but left the label in May 2019 after a dissimilarity with the label, according to Lyta in an interview held with Naijaloaded.
he arguably dropped a couple of gems under the umbrella of YBNL that took over the charts in radios and TVs across Nigeria.
Lyta’s vocal range is in the class of Oxlade, Barry Jhay, and Demmie Vee.

Lyta’s single titled ‘time‘ featuring Olamide formally launch him to the advanced Nigerian music industry stage In 2018, under the umbrella of YBNL, especially appearing on the scene with his impeccable vocal and deep mannered street lyrism.
Within the bounds of six (6) months, Lyta came through to drop another viral hit single titled ‘Selfmade’ which undoubtedly received massive acceptance, defining his tropical spot as one of the hottest kid on the block.
However, he released the 5-track debut EP ‘ID’ in 2019 after parting ways from YBNL, struggling to re-establish, he stumbled on a label called Zoro music where he released the singles titled ‘Worry‘ and Mona Lisa
Apparently ‘Mona Lisa’ cracked the market again and received more attention, gurgle with a link to DMW but actually not reported officially, therefore, remixing Mona Lisa with afrobeat heavyweight Davido.
Also, prior to the accumulated effort, Lyta bags some nominations from different awards in the Nigerian music industry which includes the City people award, the Nigerian entertainment award and the headies award.

According to Lyta in an interview reveals battling depression, in 2020 he signed under Marlian Records owned by acclaimed rapper Naira Marley
Henceforth, Lyta has been back on the scene as he consistently drops and collaborates with other artists in the industry.
