PSG confirm signing of Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich.
Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of French defender Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich.
Personal conditions were negotiated with Lucas back in May, concurrently with a deal to bring Manuel Ugarte to Paris, but working out a deal with Bayern proved to be a little trickier.
The two teams eventually came to an agreement on a transfer fee of about €50 million, and Lucas has now finalized his move to PSG by signing a five-year contract till 2028.

Lucas, a Marseille native, has never participated in French club football. He arrived in Spain at the age of four and, after graduating from the Atletico Madrid academy, signed with Bayern in 2019 for a $80 million cost.
Injuries would prove to be a problem for Lucas in Germany, however. He managed just 107 appearances for the club across his four seasons with Bayern and only played 11 games last year as a result of a various serious fitness issues.
While Kim Min-jae of Napoli will take the position of the France international at Bayern, Lucas will now have the chance to regain his fitness in Paris. The release clause for the South Korean has been activated and paid, and the €50 million deal is about to be finalized.
