Prince Kaybee exits Universal Music after 8 years
After eight years, Prince Kaybee retires from Universal Music Group. The DJ has publicly criticised the record label over the previous few years, and he is now relieved as he ends his contract with the business.
Using social media, Kaybee tweeted a statement made by UM announcing the termination of their joint venture agreement with the DJ.
“The parties have agreed to mutually terminate the Agreement with effect from 3 April 2023 and UM releases you from the delivery of any further recording in terms of the Agreement.”
“UM shall continue to commercially exploit the recordings, accountant make payment(if due) to you in terms of the Agreement,” reads the statement.
The DJ was thanked by the record label for collaborating with them.

Meanwhile, Prince Kaybee has responded to allegations that he leaked a photo of his eggplant in an effort to promote his album.
The musician has been releasing songs and projects on a regular basis for the past few years, but he has not yet produced a hit or hit.
Kaybee made the decision to continue being consistent even though his music career hasn’t produced the results he wants.
Yet a Twitter user charged him with using his eggplant post to attract attention meanwhile, in 2021, the eggplant created a significant stir on social media, and because of this, some people have vilified him.
