During the guest appearance, Kcee was asked how he has been able to stay fresh in the music game. He revealed, “For me, it’s about loving what you do. I love music and I love entertainment. Even in the classroom, I found myself entertaining. Its consistency, attention, and support. Its given me longevity in the business and I am not stopping any time soon”. Before venturing into music, Kcee actively pursued a career in professional football as a striker.

He revealed that he played for local teams in Nigeria. At that time he played football and did music on the side. He said, “I played for PUMA, Julius Berger back home like a local team. When I was playing soccer I was doing music by the side. So I was hoping to get out there. Music came in first and I won a talent hunt and they gave me about four million naira. So I had to stop football a little bit and focus on music and that’s how I left football”.
During his interview with Naija Info 102.7 FM, the afrobeat singer Kcee not only delved into his admiration for football legend Didier Drogba, likening him to a fighter, but also revealed an unexpected collaboration on the horizon. Kcee shared that he will be teaming up with pop band One Republic for an upcoming project. Furthermore, he disclosed that the remix of his hit track “Ojapiano” is set to be released in March, promising fans an exciting new rendition of the beloved song.
