Brentford’s Thiago & Chelsea’s Maresca Shine as Premier League’s 2025 November Winners

The Premier League has finally lifted the curtain on the standout performers of November 2025, and the spotlight has fallen on two men who shaped the month with brilliance: Brentford’s rising star Igor Thiago and Chelsea’s mastermind Enzo Maresca.
For Thiago, this honour feels like the story of a breakthrough season being written in real time. The Brazilian striker has been on a tear, rattling in 11 goals in just 15 league matches. Five of those came in November alone, enough to place him right behind goal machine Erling Haaland on the scoring chart.
In the process, he etched his name into Brentford’s history books as the first-ever Bees player to win the Premier League’s Player of the Month award.

“It means so much to me,” Thiago said with a smile that matched the moment. “I’m really happy to receive this because it means my hard work on the pitch has paid off. I’m surprised! But hopefully I can receive more of these this season. I’m so happy and proud of myself.”
His victory came from a crowded field of nominees including Harvey Barnes, Bruno Fernandes, Jérémy Doku, Declan Rice, and Reece James—but November simply belonged to Igor Thiago.

Maresca Named Manager of the Month
On the dugout side of the story, November also treated Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca kindly. The Italian tactician guided the Blues through a stellar month, collecting 10 points, the highest of any team, and securing his second Manager of the Month award of the campaign.
Chelsea’s November run had everything: a gritty win over Spurs, composed victories against Wolves and Burnley, and a memorable showdown with Arsenal that ended in a brave, hard-fought draw—even after Chelsea went down to ten men.
“This kind of thing happens when you do the right things,” Maresca reflected. “Performances and results were fantastic.”

This triumph marks his return to the award since September 2024 and makes him the fourth different manager to be honoured this season.
His fellow nominees included Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, Pep Guardiola, Fabian Hürzeler, and Marco Silva—but Maresca’s Chelsea looked the sharpest of the pack throughout the month.
