The Premier League has unveiled the winners of its September 2025 monthly awards, with Erling Haaland and Oliver Glasner emerging as the standout performers in the player and manager categories, respectively.

Manchester City’s goal machine, Erling Haaland, claimed the Player of the Month award after another ruthless month in front of goal. Despite featuring in only three league matches, the Norwegian striker netted five goals and provided an assist, proving pivotal in key fixtures against Manchester United and Arsenal as Pep Guardiola’s men regained momentum after a slow start to the season.
Speaking after receiving the award, Haaland expressed gratitude to his teammates and fans:
“I’m really happy to win this award for a fourth time. It always means a lot, so thank you to everyone who voted for me. I also want to thank my teammates, the coaches and all the staff—we do everything together.
September was an important month for us as a team. We played some really good football, stayed unbeaten, and got important wins for our fans. I’m happy I could help the team with goals and performances.
Now we just keep going—keep working hard every day, because there’s a tough schedule after the international break. Hopefully we can keep the same level and win even more games.”
Business as usual.

Haaland’s latest accolade marks his fourth Premier League Player of the Month award, underlining his continued dominance in English football. He beat out competition from Daichi Kamada (Crystal Palace), Yankuba Minteh (Brighton & Hove Albion), Robin Roefs (Sunderland), Granit Xhaka (Sunderland), and Martín Zubimendi (Arsenal) to clinch the prize.

On the touchline, Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner earned the Manager of the Month award after guiding the Eagles through an unbeaten September. Palace followed up a gritty draw against Sunderland with impressive victories over West Ham United and reigning champions Liverpool, cementing their reputation as one of the league’s most disciplined and dynamic sides this season.
The achievement marks Crystal Palace’s first Manager of the Month award since April 2014, when Tony Pulis last claimed the honour for the club. Glasner triumphed ahead of fellow nominees Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), and Régis Le Bris (Sunderland).
With both Haaland and Glasner setting high standards in September, fans can expect even fiercer competition when Premier League action resumes after the international break.
