The Premier League has officially announced the winners of the Player and Manager of the Month awards for March, with Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes claiming the Player of the Month accolade and Nottingham Forest’s Nuno Espirito Santo being named Manager of the Month.
Bruno Fernandes had an outstanding month, contributing to all four of Manchester United’s goals in their unbeaten fixtures against Arsenal and Leicester City.
The Portuguese midfielder scored twice and provided two assists, bringing his total Premier League assists to 50.
This marks his fifth Player of the Month award, joining the ranks of legends like Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie and moving him to third in the all-time standings.
The only players ahead of him are Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo, who both have six, while Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, and Mohamed Salah hold the top spot with seven.

On the managerial side, Nuno Espirito Santo earned his third Manager of the Month award for the season. Nottingham Forest’s push for a Champions League spot was given a major boost with a crucial 1-0 win over Manchester City, followed by a comfortable victory over relegation-threatened Ipswich Town.
This triumph brought Nuno’s career total to seven Manager of the Month awards, tying him with Mikel Arteta and Rafa Benitez. Notably, only Arteta, Pep Guardiola, and Jurgen Klopp have won the award four times in a single season, with Klopp ultimately claiming five.
