Premier League confirm nominees for April Player & Manager of the Month awards
The Premier League has unveiled its shortlist for the April 2025 Player and Manager of the Month awards, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United leading the charge after both clubs enjoyed standout months.

- Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)

- Jorgen Strand Larsen (Wolves)
Wolves could break a long-standing drought, as the club has never produced a Premier League Player of the Month in the award’s 31-year history. Ait-Nouri and Strand Larsen, instrumental in Wolves’ six straight wins, aim to change that.
Strand Larsen and Barnes led the scoring charts with four goals each, while Jacob Murphy and Morgan Rogers dazzled with their creativity—Murphy racking up three goals and three assists, and Rogers leading the league with four assists.
Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister earned a nod for the quality of his goals, including two stunning top-corner strikes.

Manager of the Month Nominees – April 2025

Though newly crowned champion Arne Slot led Liverpool to Premier League glory, Vitor Pereira is the overwhelming favourite for the managerial award. His Wolves side posted a perfect five-win April, part of a six-game winning streak not seen at the club since 1970.
Newcastle’s Eddie Howe earned a nomination despite missing half the month due to illness, while Emery and Guardiola delivered strong performances with their respective sides.
