In a recent exclusive interview with the Nigerian multi award-winning R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Praiz, via a tweet chat interview conversation.
On 6th April 2021, Mp3bullet had a fun tweet chat interview and tell-it-all with Praiz, the conversation was held with the hashtag #Mp3bulletXPraiz #Mp3bulletTweetchat.
However, the interview was scheduled to start at 4 PM but started by 5 PM because of the (+1) time difference between Nigeria and Ghana, as the multi-award-winning R&B singer is in Ghana at the time of the tweet chat interview.

Hi, How are you doing today?
Praiz: I’m doing great thank you, hope you are too.
How did you feel about losing Mtn Project Fame West African to Iyanya?
Praiz: I didn’t feel like I lost to anyone, I just wasn’t 1st …no one is my competition it’s the mentality I’ve always had
What’s your creative process like and why do you choose the R&B genre?
Praiz: I chose RnB cos it’s natural for me, nobody does it like me
How did you feel about the reception of your song ‘Rich & Famous’ across the continent?
Praiz: It was very overwhelming and I was super excited it was a major Hit across the continent. It’s forever a classic
Are we getting any project from you this year?
Praiz: I’ve got a couple of projects in the works, yes there will be a release
We all danced to the groove of your song ’Sisi’ featuring Wizkid, Do you intend to collaborate with the Grammy award winner anytime soon?
Praiz: Yea I intend to create more amazing records with Wizkid
Which other Nigerian artists would you love to collaborate with?
Praiz: I’m a lover of Joeboy, Oxlade, Johnny Drille, Fireboy DML…making music with them would be stellar
Are there any international artists you’d love to work with?
Praiz: Yea a lot and it’s in the works
What advice do you’ve for the upcoming artists?
Praiz:
- Be exceptionally good at what you do because artists spring up every minute. –
- Build and maintain relationships
- Be around people who tell you the truth
- Stay humble despite the fame when it comes
- Stay recording
