Early in September, Potter took over as Chelsea’s manager, and thus far in 14 games under his leadership, his team has won seven of them. With the victory over Bournemouth, they move up to eighth place in the standings, six points behind fourth.
Havertz and his fellow Blues stars will hope to make it two wins in a row when they take on Nottingham Forest on January 1.
